 Children from Westlea Primary School enjoying the Wheel Chair accessable Roundabout and picnic table for the first time. The equipment enables them to enjoy break times with their able bodied freinds at school. The club purchased the picnic table and supported a grant application for the Roundabout.

 Rotarians Collecting for the Haiti Earthquake victims at the West Swindon Shopping Centre on Saturday 23rd January 2010. The generosity of the people of Swindon has enabled the club to purchase two Shelter Boxes. The Shelter Box can house and support a family of ten people. SUPPORTERS of Swindon's Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre kicked off renovation work for the charity's new facility at the former Farepak site. Howard Taylor of Heart FM and Bob Barrett President of the Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown joined in as sledgehammers were used to knock through the first of many internal walls to open up the building in Westmead Drive, West Swindon, creating the new 4,800 square foot centre on Saturday 23rd May 2009.

 The final event of the Rotary Year was the Presidents Barbeque at the Liddington Hotel. It was attended by Rotarians and guests to celebrate the end of Bob Barrett's year as President of the Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown.

The Spring Ball was held at the Liddington Hotel Swindon. The event raised £1,400 and the money was devided between the Chernpbyl Children in Need Charity and the Swindon MS Therapy Centre. The event was attedned by 150 guests.

The George White Superbike Centres Swindon open day in April 2009. The club manned traditional childrens fair ground game stalls and collected for childrens charities.

Ben from Westlea Primary school in Swindon with his new desk funded by the club. The desk will adjust as Ben grows and will stay with him through out his education.

Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown members trip to Iper, Belguim where we laid a wreath at the Mennin Gate for all those who lost their lives in the First World War from Swindon.

Artsmad awards evening at Wharf Green. The Rotary Club of Swindon Thamesdown has supported the Artsmad project with a bursary grant for students from the outset of the project.
